Our commitment to digital accessibility and WCAG 2.2 compliance.

1. Our Commitment

A11yCore, LLC ("A11yCore," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We believe that the web should be accessible to everyone, regardless of ability, and we strive to provide an inclusive experience for all users.

As a company that provides accessibility solutions to other organizations, we hold ourselves to the highest standards. We continuously work to improve the accessibility of our own website and services, applying the same rigorous standards we recommend to our customers.

2. Conformance Status

TheWeb Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.

www.a11ycore.orgissubstantially conformantwith WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Substantially conformant means that while we meet most requirements, some content may not fully conform to the accessibility standard.

We conduct regular accessibility audits using both automated testing tools (including our own A11yCore scanner) and manual testing with assistive technologies including:

  • Screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver)
  • Screen magnification software
  • Keyboard-only navigation
  • Voice control software

3. Accessibility Features

We have implemented the following accessibility features on our website:

Navigation & Structure

  • Semantic HTML structure with proper heading hierarchy
  • Skip navigation links to bypass repetitive content
  • Consistent navigation across all pages
  • Breadcrumb navigation for orientation
  • Descriptive page titles

Visual Design

  • Color contrast ratios meeting WCAG AA standards (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text)
  • Information conveyed through multiple means, not color alone

  • Support for browser zoom up to 200%
  • Dark mode support respecting system preferences

Keyboard Accessibility

  • All interactive elements are keyboard accessible
  • Visible focus indicators on all focusable elements
  • Logical tab order throughout the site
  • No keyboard traps

Screen Reader Support

  • ARIA landmarks for page regions
  • Descriptive alternative text for images
  • Form labels and error messages associated with inputs
  • Live regions for dynamic content updates

A11yCore Widget

We use our own A11yCore accessibility widget on this site, providing additional user-adjustable accessibility features including:

  • Text size adjustment (50% - 200%)
  • High contrast and dark mode
  • Color filters for color blindness
  • Reading guide and focus mask
  • Link highlighting
  • Dyslexia-friendly fonts
  • Reduced motion options

4. Known Limitations

Despite our best efforts, some content may have accessibility limitations. We are actively working to address the following known issues:

  • Third-party content:Some embedded content from third-party providers (e.g., Stripe payment forms, Intercom chat) may not be fully accessible. We work with these providers to advocate for improved accessibility.
  • PDF documents:Some older PDF documents may not be fully accessible. We are working to remediate these and provide accessible alternatives upon request.
  • Complex data visualizations:Some charts and graphs may require alternative text descriptions, which we are progressively adding.

5. Ongoing Efforts

We are committed to continuous improvement of our website's accessibility. Our ongoing efforts include:
